I enjoy designing and it isn't a full time project for me because I have to deal with the disability of pain with osteoarthritis (I think I have Paget's and hoping to receive the help I need yet we're living through some testing times with doctor's and NHS so I expect I have some more challenges to face there too).
Over the past few months since adding my items into Zazzle, I have found it to help me to cope mentally. The 'doing nothing' gives me nothing but the pain to think about yet keeping busy has been my lifeline, my sanity saver because it is difficult to cope with when it is constant, and recently progressively worse :-(
I've created Zazzle 01 Inspired_Designers because I wanted to leave something to some of my family. I hoped that for many years, yet situations and poor health has kept me on such a tight rein that I have had struggles to do what I want. I once gained a UK patent for a design I hoped to gain royalties for, and to this day I believe it was stolen from right under my nose denying me of the 1% royalties I was to receive for this product. I have done my homework and I really did get kicked in the teeth with that and because I'm poor Couldn't get the legal help to fight it. Anyhow....
this was over ten years ago and that product succeeding would have changed the course of my life (penniless millionaire, lol)
Yet, it was not meant to be when I look back. I was coping with some horrific, and traumatic circumstances and because of the life I was living, I had to try and pick up the pieces for more than ten years and it still is effecting my family, so like said, the stolen design was not meant to be because the only thing that truly matters is emotional and mentally stability, the two things my family were in desperate need.
<3 I am very lucky though, I have faith and I'm strong and determined to not let physical pain to keep me down. I'm knocked, so am that but I am not giving up <3
Anyhow, I wanted to share something little about myself and be real so you can get to know the current me. We are constantly changing, our minds our bodies and situations and circumstances, and I like to share something about my present life and nothing better than a sudden rant is there :-)
